1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading or using the GrowSabz application, or by using this website, these terms apply to you. Please read them before you use either. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app or the site.

2. What the service is

GrowSabz is an offline-first personal gardening companion that runs entirely on your device. It provides plant management, task reminders and garden tracking. This website publishes the same plant database the app runs on, along with free tools built from it.

3. Privacy and AI

As set out in the privacy policy: we do not collect, transmit or store your personal data on remote servers, and the app does not use AI to process your data, track your behaviour or make automated decisions.

4. Your responsibilities

Because the app stores data locally, you are solely responsible for:

• Keeping backups using the export and import functions. We cannot recover lost data if your device is damaged or lost, or the app is uninstalled.
• Securing your device, which is the only thing protecting your stored information.

5. Growing advice

The guidance on this site is general horticultural information derived from each plant's documented biological tolerances. Local conditions, varieties and seasons vary enormously, and outcomes are not guaranteed. Nothing here is agricultural, nutritional or medical advice.

Where fertilisers or pest treatments are described, follow the manufacturer's instructions and your local regulations, which take precedence over anything written here.

6. Subscriptions

App subscriptions are billed through Google Play and managed in your Google Play account. Refunds follow Google Play's policy.

7. Intellectual property

The app, and the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property relating to it, belong to the GrowSabz development team. You may not copy or modify the app, any part of it, or our trade marks.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, so it is worth reviewing periodically.
