Privacy policy

This page covers two separate things: the GrowSabz app, and this website. They behave differently, and it is worth being precise about which is which.

The app

GrowSabz is an offline-first application. We do not collect, harvest, transmit or store any of your personal data on our servers. Everything you enter — profiles, plant details, location tags, task schedules, expenses and harvests — is stored locally on your device.

No AI processing

GrowSabz does not use artificial intelligence or machine-learning models to process your data, analyse your habits or generate content. Your data is not used to train anything, by us or anyone else.

Permissions the app asks for

• Local notifications — required to remind you to water and feed. These are scheduled on your device and are never triggered by a remote server.
• Files and storage (optional) — needed only if you choose to export a backup of your data or import one you saved earlier.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party tracking, advertising or analytics SDKs that collect personal information. The only outbound communication the app initiates is when you explicitly submit feedback or a feature request, which is delivered to us over a secure webhook.

Your control over your data

Because the data sits only on your device, you hold all of it. You can delete individual profiles or clear all application data from within the app's settings. Uninstalling the app permanently removes everything associated with it.

This website

The site is static and sets no cookies of its own. We run no analytics that identify you.

If and when advertising is enabled here, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA and UK will be shown a consent notice before any advertising cookies are set.
